There are two licences which most persons complete to work as a traffic controller, they are Stop/Slow Bat Course and Implement Traffic Control Plans. Having both of theses licences will give persons the best chance of gaining employment in the Traffic Management industry.
To be able to work on the road in a Traffic Control capacity and operate a stop/slow bat, you will need a minimum of a Stop/Slow Bat licence. If that work location is a construction site, you will also need a White Card (to be on a construction site).
In addition to the above licences, the Implement Traffic Control Plans certifies persons to read site plans, set up and prepare a work
site in addition to using the start stop/slow bat.
If organising a group booking or onsite training, we can facilitate the training nationally.
It is important to note that this course requires a level of physical ability to complete practical assessments. If your health or fitness restricts you from performing physical activities associated with this program, you will not be able to complete this course.
This course combines plain English, videos, photos, and questioning to ensure all learners are able to have the best possible chance at comprehending the required knowledge and skills. If you believe you will need assistance due to your Language, Literacy or Numeracy skills, please contact our office on 02 9232 1010 to discuss your training needs.
